Interesting huh? Check out the arm. I thought it might be a reference to the back breaking work but somehow the fine dress says something else. She has African blood- could that be why she is portrayed with the muscular arms? The face looks masculine to me.

COOKING
Villeta- a couple of hours from Bogota- in the early 1990s. This are pix I took of the cook and her stove.
You'll get a closeup of the stove in a minute--I see coal?
I used an on line company called ScanCafe to get all my slides digitized. Thus this blast from the past. I like to collect images of women cooking. Women and food seem to go together in my mind altho'I have thought it a thankless task. Several hours from buying the food to serving it. Folks swallow it down in minutes and you are back where you started. I'd rather read.
