My favorite appearance is that of Charlton Heston in brown face playing a Mexican detective. With a very hispanic moustache.Oh and Janet Leigh --Jamie Curtis's mom-- plays Heston's sexy new white bride--Ole!
Yeah, that's Janet Leigh just before the Mexican hoodlums kidnap her with their Maryjane and needles. Anyway...the story revolves around a Mexican detective (Heston) trying to figure out what is going on with a seemingly corrupt white cop, played by Orson Welles. Orson is in top form and he also directed. A TOUCH OF EVIL was shot in Venice, California and a Mexican border town, maybe Tijuana. This is a good film to watch with friends on Nachos night with a pitcher of Margaritas. Watch this one alone and you miss half the possible snark.
